一、開設賬戶
最好是在有名的銀行中開帳戶。

在開帳戶時，銀行會給你一本支票簿，你可以用它在需要時取錢。
When you open the account, the bank will give you a chequebook /checkbookand you can use this to draw /withdraw money out as you need it.
如果你要在商店里用支票，你會同時需要一張支票保付卡
If you need to write cheques in shops, you'll also need a cheque card .

大學課程咨詢與指導(course counselling and guide)，論文寫作咨詢與指導(essay writing counselling)，課程實驗和實踐(course experiments and practice)是學術語言模塊(academic language)的經典話題，如果考生熟悉海外教育體系(college education system)，這些是學術話題中比較容易得分的話題。
被招收enroll(名詞為enrollment)的新學生剛進校時，先去注冊辦公室registration office去登記注冊register付注冊費registration fee后會拿到一張申請表 application form /registration form，填表fill in the form后，記下一些個人信息take down some details，會有專人為你存檔 keep on the file。大學開學典禮opening ceremony后，會舉行情況說明會 orientation meeting，發(fā)情況說明手冊orientation pack，安排校園解說游覽orientation tour(on the campus)

三、旅游休閑Travelling/Holidays
1、 確定旅游類型和目的地
如果你想去度假on vacation/on holiday，又喜歡跟團旅行package tour,可以和旅行社travel agency確定旅行tour/journey/travel類型?？梢赃x擇expedition遠途旅行(時間長，路途辛苦)或者excursion 短途旅行
具體的娛樂entertainment/recreation項目比如：
①人文景觀places of historical interest;② 購物shopping;③有導游帶領的旅行 guided tours。
2、附加的游覽項目的挑選
如果在某些景點scenic spot/resort如果愿意付額外的費用extra fee可以得到附加的游覽項目比如：

3、預定機票
然后提前預定reserve in advance/make a reservation in advance(特別提醒：一般Section1或者Section2中出現(xiàn)的，機票和餐廳位置的預定用book、reserve或者make a reservation。飛機票有：
頭等艙first class
經濟艙economy class/tourist class/second class
兩種頭等艙的候車室lounge里有茶點refreshments。提供付款方式Pay by:
現(xiàn)金cash;
支票check ;
信用卡credit card;
支票薄checkbook;
銀行轉帳 bank transfer;(有時需要攜帶旅行支票traveler’s check)
4、旅游安排
⑴旅游路線itinerary和公交路線(bus route)也是要事先考慮的，在小冊子brochure上會有時間表timetable/agenda/schedule列表
⑵一般小巴士mini-bus可以容納12-15個人，大巴士coach可以容納45-50個人;確定好出發(fā)時間departure time 和回返時間return time
⑶住宿地點可以是：汽車旅館motel青年旅社youth hostel旅館hotel小酒店inn(大多數(shù)旅館會提供早餐和床B&B=breakfast & bed)
5、攜帶物品
如果有野營go camping的打算，建議攜帶一些生活必需品和應急用品，例如：

睡衣pyjamas
泳衣bathing suit/swimming costume
(提醒：不可以寫成bathing costume或者swimming suit)

返回之前也可以去紀念品商店souvenir shop買些特產回來
四、房屋租賃
首先landlord / landlady房東和tenant租客通過houseagency房產中介(或house agent房產代理人)聯(lián)系，洽談租房事宜。
1、確定住宿形式：

2、住宿類型分為兩大類：
① flat(英式公寓)=apartment(美式公寓)

一般位于suburbs = outskirts (郊區(qū))
3、確定rent租金和deposit押金(for security為了安全)

①near public transport靠近公共交通

④ 各類帳單和設備租賃費用是否包括在租金內
