要怎樣才能得到審稿人的青睞呢?
經(jīng)過多年的審核申請(qǐng)文書經(jīng)驗(yàn)，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)同學(xué)們最常犯錯(cuò)的地方或遺失的重點(diǎn)如下：
1、請(qǐng)依照學(xué)校要求字?jǐn)?shù)撰寫
每所學(xué)校都會(huì)有不同字?jǐn)?shù)要求，有些要求在1000字內(nèi)(例如倫敦政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院LSE) 或是600字內(nèi)(KCL)，這些要求如果沒有做到，很容易就會(huì)被學(xué)校刷下了!
2、請(qǐng)依照學(xué)校要求內(nèi)容撰寫
大部份學(xué)校要求都是需要寫申請(qǐng)此專業(yè)的動(dòng)機(jī)，為何決定申請(qǐng)此學(xué)位，專業(yè)與你學(xué)業(yè)背景還有工作有和相關(guān)，未來的就業(yè)計(jì)劃。
另外，值得注意的是，英國留學(xué)文書申請(qǐng)比較偏向?qū)W生將學(xué)業(yè)背景還有經(jīng)驗(yàn)與專業(yè)做個(gè)連接。
也就是說，一定要圍繞在此專業(yè)相關(guān)的資訊，如果添加不相干的容易被刷下來。
實(shí)際例子：
LSE網(wǎng)頁上面清清楚楚就寫了他門不會(huì)錄用的PS內(nèi)容(poor personal statement)：
“I was the captain of the school football team and excelled in most other sports. I have also worked part-time in a sports store to earn money for university.”
此句子并沒有展現(xiàn)沒有你對(duì)此專業(yè)以及對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)上進(jìn)入大學(xué)后有任何幫助。
因此，應(yīng)該要這樣修改，由此例句來對(duì)照。
“I was the captain of the school football team, and this has taught me the importance of working together as a team, and allowed me to prioritise my time between my studies and football practice. I feel that this has provided me with the experience to successfully balance my academic and social life, and I plan to continue this balance whilst at university."

"I have always dreamed of coming to LSE since I was young. It has been a dream of mine to study at this institution, which is well renowned for its social science courses.”
(無實(shí)際內(nèi)容以及個(gè)人啟發(fā)，不受青睞。)
“I am currently studying History, English and Business and Management at Higher level and Italian, Maths and Chemistry at Standard level in the International Baccalaureate, and feel that these subjects are providing me with a solid background for university study.”
(這些你學(xué)過的科目不用在重復(fù)，因?yàn)閷徃迦藛T也可以看你的transcript 得知你所學(xué)習(xí)過的科系以及分?jǐn)?shù)，這些內(nèi)容只是浪費(fèi)空間)
“I want to study History because I want to be a world class Historian, and feel that this degree will help me. I am especially interested in Ancient History, particularly the history concerning the Roman Empire. I am fascinated by the way in which the empire was run, and the events that led to its downfall.”
(這個(gè)是重點(diǎn)了! 因?yàn)長SE 沒有Ancient history 的課程，這樣寫就代表你連看課程設(shè)置都沒有，當(dāng)然不會(huì)上)
“It is my dream to become an alumni of the School, and I am sure that as I am the top student of my class, you will offer me a place."
(太過傲慢，需要積極正面說說自己的好且謙虛，千萬不要自以為是)
