【3月13日】倫敦大學(xué)城市學(xué)院3月23日星期一開始，將采用線上教學(xué)
以下內(nèi)容是我校校長Professor Lynn Dobbs面對(duì)英國疫情，代表學(xué)校發(fā)給各位學(xué)生的郵件。里面提出了學(xué)校兩個(gè)主要的準(zhǔn)備工作通知。

我寫信的目的是為了告訴大家我們?yōu)閼?yīng)對(duì)冠狀病毒所做的準(zhǔn)備工作。目前我們有兩個(gè)主要工作。首先是確保我們所有員工和學(xué)生的安全。盡管現(xiàn)在英國的病例相對(duì)較少，但我們正在采取行動(dòng)降低風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。第二，確保我們的學(xué)生繼續(xù)接受教學(xué)、評(píng)估和完成學(xué)業(yè)。目前，雖然病例相對(duì)較少，但大學(xué)仍然開放，教學(xué)將照常進(jìn)行直到3月20日星期五。為了確保每個(gè)人的安全，大樓將在3月20日當(dāng)天下午5點(diǎn)關(guān)閉。從3月23日星期一開始，我們將采用線上教學(xué)的方式提供所有的教學(xué)和評(píng)估考試。我們正在為網(wǎng)課做出相應(yīng)的安排。為此我們會(huì)盡快確認(rèn)細(xì)節(jié)。現(xiàn)在最重要的是不要擔(dān)心；學(xué)校和老師都會(huì)幫助和支持你們的學(xué)習(xí)，一切都會(huì)好的。我們的現(xiàn)在的首要任務(wù)是確保大家的安全和完成學(xué)業(yè)。我們也正在采取一切必要的措施確保學(xué)生的安全。

I am writing to update you about the preparations we are making in response to the Coronavirus. We have two main objectives. The first is to ensure that all of our staff and students remain safe, and although there are still relatively few cases in the UK, we are acting now to reduce risk. The second is to ensure that our students continue to receive teaching, assessment and any support they might need to complete their studies. At present, while cases remain relatively low, the University remains open and teaching will continue as normal until Friday 20th March. To ensure everyone stays safe, the building will close at 5 pm on that day and from Monday 23rd March we will deliver all teaching and assessment online. We are also putting arrangements in place to ensure that we can be flexible when it comes to assessments that are coming up that would have required your attendance on site. We will confirm details as soon as possible. The main thing is not to worry at this time; everything regarding your studies will be OK. Our priority is your wellbeing and success and we are taking all steps necessary to ensure that you are supported.
Please do continue to follow the advice of Public Health England and look after yourselves.
