The MRC – University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research (CVR) sits within the Institute of Infection, Immunology and Inflammation. The MMus in Musicology provides students with intensive study in current trends in Musicology at advanced level. The programme combines a broad base in musicological research, including theoretical and methodological approaches from the historiography, analysis, sociology and cultural and critical study of music, with the possibility of specialising in fields such as Popular Music Studies, Screen Music Studies, Historically Informed Performance Practice (scholarly approaches only) and Sonic Arts Aesthetics and Criticism.
