The Flexible Double Degree groups allow students to combine two Bachelor degrees of their choice. Students can build their own combination to suit both a career path and a personal passion. The Engineering and Advanced Computing Group allows for over 80 unique degree combinations. These options allow you to couple technical knowledge with a diverse range of options in science, business and social sciences.

These options allow you to build depth, create interdisciplinary breadth, and fulfil both professional ambitions and intellectual curiosity.
If English is not your first language, you will be required to pass an approved English test. We normally ask for IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each competency.
Our normal entry requirement is an upper second-class honours degree or higher (or equivalent) in computer science, software engineering or a closely related subject such as mathematics, physics, or electronics/electrical engineering. You should have a good understanding of at least one object-oriented modern programming language (Java, C++, C#, etcetera). We do take into account work experience, in place of taught programming.
This umbrella programme allows you to choose modules from our more specialist programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Signal Processing, Software Engineering, and Web Science and Technology. In semester one, you can cover the foundations of a number of these specialist areas, and for your other taught subjects you can choose specialist modules to deepen your understanding of one or more of these areas.
