    The Master of Biotechnology (Advanced) program is a two year advanced graduate coursework program. Students are required to complete 48 units of courses which if completed at the required level, will qualify them for the research year. Here they will complete 48 units of a research project, in which they carry out research in biotechnology area followed by a written thesis on their project. The program is designed to give students both theoretical and practical knowledge of modern biotechnology methodologies as it relates to biochemistry and molecular biology. The degree will qualify them for further higher research degrees, such as a PhD if completed at the required level
