Arts in Chinese Translation and Interpreting is a suite of programs including a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Masters qualification, designed to develop students' practical techniques and skills of translation between English and Chinese and interpreting between English and Mandarin. This program is being offered in response to the demand for a 2-year Masters program from students who have completed MA-level studies and wish to take up a dissertation before advancing to a research higher degree. This postgraduate coursework program offers study in the fields of Applied Linguistics and TESOL. The program has two missions. The first is to provide a quality professional development program for teachers of English and other second languages, and language professionals in translation, interpreting and other second language areas. The second mission is to provide coursework students the opportunity to explore research options and develop specialisations for further study.

The Master of Economics and Public Policy is an economics-centred, multidisciplinary program, designed to provide students with an opportunity to understand how government intervention affects the economy in an increasingly globalised world. The program focuses on the economic analytical tools needed to design and evaluate public policies. Core courses in public economics, regulatory economics, and microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis emphasise the rationale for government intervention and the theoretical framework that underpins the nature of such intervention.
