Graduates of the Master of International Management acquire advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled managerial work in the global economy. The knowledge acquired from completion of this degree is both theoretical and applied in the international business and management disciplines. Graduates will have an understanding of recent developments in these disciplines and the associated professional practice. In particular graduates will understand the evidence base for international managerial practice: the relationship between theory and applied knowledge and the research from which it emerges.

Students must achieve a minimum 70% weighted average mark in the initial component to continue to the concluding component.
Students who do not achieve a minimum of 70% weighted average mark will be transferred to the Graduate Diploma of Finance and Actuarial Statistics
The Master of Financial Economics is an elite, interdisciplinary degree preparing graduates for a career requiring advanced analytical skills and drawing on an advanced knowledge of finance and economics. The program not only teaches students how to apply well known models but also equips them with an understanding of the technical foundations of those models. These skills are highly marketable because they allow for the design and empirical testing of new financial instruments and models in new market environments.
By transfer from the Master of Globalisation, with a weighted average mark of at least 70% in the first 72 units of course work attempted as well as the approval of an identified supervisor for the research project/thesis.
If the total number of units attempted exceeds 72 in the same teaching period in which the 72nd unit is attempted, exactly 72 units will be used in the calculation of the weighted average mark with units from the course with the highest mark applied first followed by further units from courses in descending order of marks.
