A Bachelor of International Security Studies degree or equivalent, completed within the last two years; with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 70 per cent in relevant courses in their Bachelor Pass Degree (i.e., courses that are relevant to their proposed honours thesis), excluding 1000-level courses (i.e. introductory undergraduate courses).with a major or equivalent in a cognate discipline.with the written approval of an identified supervisor and the CAP Honours Program Convenor for the thesis. ;

The International Security Studies program provides specialist training in the international, internal, and transnational security challenges currently facing the Asia-Pacific region. As an Honours student you will have access to the wealth of expertise in international security studies across the ANU and to the great holdings of the University and the National libraries. You will have expert supervisory guidance and research training in the College of Asia and the Pacific. With a Bachelor of International Security Studies (Honours) degree, you will acquire in-depth contextual knowledge and develop the research skills you need to move on to a higher research degree and/or professional employment.

The Bachelor of Studies enables capable domestic senior secondary students to commence undergraduate level study while concurrently enrolled in year 11 or 12. The Bachelor of Studies is broad-based in conceptual and theoretical content. Students enrolled in an EXTN Extension course must be concurrently enrolled in years 11 or 12. Applicants for the ANU Extension course must receive the endorsement of their school principal prior to being admitted to the Bachelor of Studies program; students must also meet co-requisite study requirements at their home schools. Results obtained in the EXTN Extension course may contribute towards the calculation of a student's ATAR. A selection process for entry to an EXTN Extension course is based upon the results of a test in the area of study.

To practice law in Australia you need to complete a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD), plus practical legal training (PLT). ANU Legal Workshop offers the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GDLP) or the Master of Legal Practice (MLP) which fulfil current PLT requirements in Australia.

Whichever option you choose, you’ll benefit from a unique teaching approach that brings together academic rigor, theoretical understanding and practical insight, and provides the knowledge and skills required for success in a diverse range of careers. To help you balance study with full-time employment and other personal commitments, the ANU LLM places an emphasis on flexibility. This includes clustering lectures over ‘intensive’ periods of 3-5 days – reducing the need for you to travel to campus on multiple occasions – and making extensive use of online learning, enabling you to structure study when and where it suits you best.

The Master of Asian and Pacific Studies will provide you with the regional grounding and research expertise you need to graduate as a leader of the Asian Century. The program provides a broad variety of courses with an Asian and Pacific focus and allows students to follow individual areas of specialisation in specific areas of the Asian and Pacific regions or in disciplines drawing on regional case studies. In this program you will be taught by some of the most eminent scholars of Asia and the Pacific in the world.

Either: A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a credit average (GPA 5.0/7.0). Or: An ANU Graduate certificate in management with a credit average (GPA 5.0/7.0). All applicants must meet the University's English Language Admission Requirements for Students A maximum of 48 units of credit will be available based on the following conditions: ? Applicants with at least 10 years’ work experience (including 5 years documented management experience) may be eligible for 24 units of credit. ? Applicants with a Bachelor Degree or international equivalent in a cognate discipline may be eligible for 24 units of credit (AQF level 7). ? Applicants with an Honours degree or postgraduate qualification in a cognate discipline may be eligible for 48 units of credit (AQF level 8/9).

The Master of Management (MOM) program equips graduates and professionals from any discipline to become evidence-based decision makers, innovative problem solvers, responsible social citizens, and future leaders. The program can be tailored to include up to two specialisations.

The Master of Marketing Management (MMM) program equips graduates and professionals from any discipline to become evidence-based decision makers, innovative problem solvers, responsible social citizens, and future leaders. The MMM program provides specialised knowledge and skills in the area of marketing, and can be tailored to include a second specialisation.

An AQF Level 7 Bachelor of Actuarial Studies degree or equivalent completed within the last two years; with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 75 per cent calculated from the following 36 units (i.e. 0.75 EFTSL) equivalent to the ANU courses; STAT3004 Stochastic Modelling; STAT3032 Survival Models; STAT3037 Life Contingencies; STAT3038 Actuarial Techniques; STAT3035 Risk Theory; STAT3036 Credibility Theory. and with the written approval of the Honours Convener. The number of places available in the program may be limited by the Dean due to supervisory capacity.

Honours in Actuarial Studies is a program offered within the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Applied Statistics that offers students who have excelled in their undergraduate actuarial degree a challenging but rewarding year of study. We seek outstanding students who are keen to undertake independent research with the guidance from academic staff. Sufficiently high grades in the coursework component of the honours year will enable students to receive exemptions from Part II and Part III requirements of the Actuaries Institute.
