The Master of Directing for Performance is designed to develop your in-depth knowledge and skills of directing, and provide a framework to identify and reflect on your own practice as a director, performance-maker, collaborator and researcher. In the Master of Dramaturgy you encounter and explore dramaturgy beyond work with written texts and literary play scripts to encompass the contexts of dance, hybrid works, installation, community-based and performance art work. The program provides opportunities for you to develop your potential for artistic leadership and attain in-depth knowledge of dramaturgical thinking and practices.
As an Agriculture student, you will develop core practical skills across plant and soil science, animal science and agricultural economics and examine key aspects of agricultural production from scientific, economic, environmental and ethical points of view.

The Bachelor of Arts (Extended) provides a pathway for motivated and aspiring Indigenous students. It is a four-year Arts degree which includes a year of bridging subjects to ensure success in the most prestigious Arts degree in Australia. A key element of the Bachelor of Arts (Extended) is that this program is residential – students live in University residential colleges and benefit from all the extra support that colleges provide. Additional support services are available for all students through Murrup Barak, the Melbourne Institute of Indigenous Development and Murrup Barak Indigenous Student Programs.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts is Australia’s leading specialist arts program, offering intensive, studio-based arts training to students in music, visual and performing arts.
The program is taught by the Victorian College of the Arts at the Southbank campus and offers immersive and experiential practice-based studio studies. The Bachelor of Fine Arts is designed to train highly skilled arts practitioners who can work independently or in ensemble in a range of careers and performance or production opportunities.
The course is characterised by regular exhibitions, performances and production work in first and second year. Third year provides a focus for profiling your work to the arts profession of your choice.

The Bachelor of Oral Health has a curriculum reflecting the latest developments in oral health for the education of oral health therapists (dental hygienists and therapists).
As a Bachelor of Oral Health student, you’ll develop all the scientific, theoretical and clinical skills required for practice as an oral health therapist (which includes both dental hygienist and dental therapist practice).
