The Graduate Diploma in Business Law is a coursework program for graduates with non-law or quasi-legal backgrounds wishing to attain postgraduate qualifications and knowledge of the law relevant to business. The program is of relevance to those involved in the private, commercial, government or international sectors where business law issues are relevant to their employment such as finance, accounting, compliance, human resources and marketing professionals. It is also a valuable qualification for students seeking careers in those fields where knowledge of legal requirements is an advantage.

The Graduate Certificate in Change Management (GCCM), offered by AGSM MBA Programs, is specifically designed for practising managers with a particular interest in managing change. The GCCM structure is designed to be flexible, with courses being available in 3 sessions each year. Typically, in each session students take 1 or 2, but if other commitments make it difficult to take a course in a particular session, students have the liberty to take no courses. To graduate with the GCCM students need to successfully complete 4 courses, and these must be completed within a 4-year period.
The minimum entry requirement to the MAvMgmt is a 3 year undergraduate Bachelor's degree.
There are four entry groups for the MAvMgmt. The groups are determined by the discipline of the applicant's undergraduate degree, and years of industry experience (if applicable).
Each entry group offers different amounts of advanced standing and therefore the total UoC to complete at UNSW is different for each group. Please refer to the table below:
The Master of Aviation Management (MAvMgmt) is designed for professionals who have a University degree and relevant industry experience. The program is developed with industry input and aims to provide managers and professionals with the skills and knowledge to be effective in a contemporary Aviation environment.
The MAvMgmt is offered entirely through distance education. The online courses are delivered through a secure learning and teaching website. Students do not need to attend any on-campus activities.
The program is 96 units of credit (or 2 years full-time equivalent) and can be studied on a full-time or part-time basis. Students with appropriate education and/or professional experience may be eligible for advanced standing and may then complete the degree in less time. Students with full-time employment are recommended to undertake a part-time study load.
The degree of Master of Science in research requires a minimum of three academic sessions of full-time study and preparation of a written thesis. The length of a Masters research thesis normally should not exceed 75,000 words of text.
Once completed, the thesis is reviewed by members of the Australian and International Scientific Academic community.

Entrance Requirements: Honours degree (Class 2/1 or first class) in an appropriate field or equivalent performance in a Higher Degree Qualifying Program or Graduate Diploma by research.
Duration of Course: The normal enrolment period is 2 years (4 academic sessions) for full time students.

Biomedical Engineering is the application of engineering principles to developing technologies and solving problems in a diverse range of health care related fields e.g. implantable bionics, drug delivery systems, medical imaging, radiotherapies, orthopedic devices, telemedicine, robotic surgery, cell and tissue engineering, records management, physical rehabilitation and others.
The MBiomedE degree program is designed to cater for students with either a medical/biological science or engineering/physical science background.
Admission to this program is open only to engineering graduates who satisfy the entry requirements for a research degree.
These are research degrees in which a thesis embodies the result of an original investigation, or design, or engineering development. Candidates for the award of the degree of ME may be required to carry out a program of advanced study.

To gain entry to this program, students must:
1.Have completed a Bachelor of Aviation (Management) undergraduate degree at UNSW or equivalent, or
2.Have satisfactorily completed the equivalent of 1 year FTE of the Bachelor of Aviation (Management) at UNSW or equivalent, and
3.Hold an Australian Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate, and
4.Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident, and
5.Attend an interview with Head, School of Aviation or nominee to ascertain suitability with regards to motivation and background.
The Graduate Diploma in Flying is a program designed to meet the needs of graduates with an ambition toward a career as a pilot. In part paralleling the Bachelor of Aviation as a concurrent program, the Graduate Diploma allows professional flying training students to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and a Command Instrument Rating Multi-Engine (CIR-ME), as well as undertaking academic studies covering the theoretical issues, using Fee-Help. Award of the Graduate Diploma will require satisfactory completion of the Courses to be undertaken, which will themselves require the award of the CPL and the CIR-ME as part of the assessment. The Graduate Diploma in Flying is restricted to those who have satisfactorily completed the first year of the Bachelor of Aviation (Flying or Management).
The Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management (GradDipAvMgmt) is designed for students who do not hold a University degree but have at least 1 year of relevant industry experience. It is also a pathway for those without a first degree to gain an opportunity to study the Master of Aviation Management. The program is developed with industry input and aims to provide managers and professionals with the skills and knowledge to be effective in a contemporary Aviation environment.
