A Masters by Research program requires students to undertake an original investigation. In comparison to a doctorate however, this investigation is generally more limited in scope and degree of originality. The work is closely supervised in the early problem formulation stages and whenever a new technique is being used. The program requires the submission of a thesis embodying the results of an original investigation or design. The minimum requirement for Postgraduate Research Degree (PhD, Master by Research or MPhil) is an appropriate undergraduate degree, usually at honours level, in a field represented within UNSW Built Environment, or another appropriate discipline. In exceptional cases students may be admitted on the basis of professional experience.

The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Built Environment program is a research degree that has a coursework component and a major research project. It provides an opportunity to undertake research in various fields including architecture, digital modelling, interior architecture, landscape architecture, industrial design, property development, construction management and economics, sustainable development, planning and urban design. The minimum requirement for Postgraduate Research Degree (PhD, Master by Research or MPhil) is an appropriate undergraduate degree, usually at honours level, in a field represented within UNSW Built Environment, or another appropriate discipline. In exceptional cases students may be admitted on the basis of professional experience.

Start your search at the AGSM MBA Programs website The two-stage program with the AGSM MBA Hong Kong comprises a Graduate Diploma in Management (six core and two elective courses), followed by the MBA stage (eight elective courses). During the first stage of the program you will undertake six core courses covering the foundations of management. You then complete two elective courses to fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Management (GDM). You may then graduate with a GDM or, if you have a weighted average mark of 65 per cent or more, you may proceed to the MBA stage. To gain your MBA you will successfully complete 16 courses. To qualify for the Master of Business Administration (Executive) candidates must successfully complete two stages: ?Stage 1 (48 units of credit – UOC): candidates must complete the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Management (Program Code 5950), with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% or higher. ?Stage 2 (48 UOC): candidates must complete the Strategic Management Year (SM Year), which comprises four courses, that must be taken in sequence over a period of no more than one year.

The Master of Business & Technology (MBT) Program aims to equip managers and other professionals with the skills and knowledge to be effective in a contemporary business environment where the rapid rate of technological change and development has a significant impact on the success of the modern organisation.

The Graduate Diploma in Business & Technology is part of the articulated Master of Business & Technology (MBT) Program. The Graduate Diploma does not accept new enrolments as it is an exit qualification. New students will enter either program 7333 or 8616, depending on whether they possess a prior tertiary degree, and can choose to graduate with the Graduate Diploma upon completion of 48 units of credit.

The Graduate Certificate in Business & Technology is the first step to the Master of Business & Technology (MBT) for candidates who do not have a prior tertiary degree. All candidates must have at least four years relevant professional experience to gain entry.

The Master of Business Law (MBL) is a coursework degree for graduates with non-law or quasi-legal backgrounds wishing to attain postgraduate qualifications and knowledge of the law relevant to business.
