This program will provide students with in depth knowledge and practical skills for a successful career in professional counselling. Taught in collaboration with UQ's School of Psychology, the program is well-established in Australia. It is accredited with both major professional associations (ACA and PACFA). The program has a strong focus on integrative approaches to counselling and applied psychotherapy that seek to effectively and respectfully enhance outcomes for people struggling with a range of challenges. These challenges may vary from intra-personal issues to inter-personal (relationship) and systemic problems across areas from prevention to clinical care.
The Bachelor of Arts is a flexible degree that provides students with the optimal balance between a defined sequence of study and flexible course options. The Master of International Commercial Law (MICLaw) is designed specifically for graduates of any discipline who have relevant work experience related to the courses offered in the program. This is likely to include those working in banking and financial institutions, in a wide variety of commercial enterprises and also lawyers. The program includes three key courses aimed at increasing existing knowledge and understanding of foundational legal concepts and also aimed at enhancing analytical (legal) reasoning and writing skills.

There is a tremendous demand for people with experience in Biotech, both in the academic and industrial settings. Such experience can be used at the "coalface" level where the person actually carries out research, at the management level where a knowledge of techniques and approaches is required, at the regulatory level and in publicity/advertising. The Research Extensive program is designed to enable scientists who wish to increase their technical and research skills in core areas of biotechnology and wish to obtain a more extended laboratory immersion than is available in the existing three semester MBiotech. The extended program will also provide a strong preparation for entry into a PhD program. The Master of Biotechnology Program is accredited by the US Council of Graduate Schools (Washington DC) as Professional Science Masters programs.
