The course provides students with the opportunity to select a unique combination of postgraduate units to achieve their academic, professional and/or personal goals.
Many of the world's major problems and areas of cutting edge research are multidisciplinary and, as such, this course enables students to draw on a broad range of postgraduate units offered by different schools and faculties across the University.
If you have only a scaled score of 50 or more in Mathematics Methods ATAR you can still be admitted but will have to take bridging unit. If you do not have a scaled score of 50 or more in Mathematics Specialist ATAR, Physics ATAR, and Chemistry ATAR or equivalent and wish to undertake a second major, this will extend the duration of the degree beyond the minimum 3 years. Students applying for a Direct Pathway to the Master of Professional Engineering will need to achieve an ATAR of 92 (or equivalent). Correspondingly, there is a Weighted Average Mark requirement of 60 in the Bachelor's degree for non-Direct Pathway students wanting to enter the Master of Professional Engineering. Note: To be eligible to complete this major within the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) will require a minimum ATAR of 98 (or equivalent).

A Master of Building Information Modelling is beneficial to anyone working in engineering, construction, quantity surveying, architecture, project management or associated industries.

The secondary teacher education program will ensure graduates have an in-depth knowledge of the theory and practical skills required for teaching in secondary schools. The course focuses on the combination of the theoretical learning paths and intensive practical components of the Master of Teaching (Secondary) degreeat UWA. All students that enter the course from 2017 onwards will be required to meet the standard of a National Literacy and Numeracy test in order to graduate.
