A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution, with a minimum of a credit average overall as determined by the Australian School of Business, a graduate for at least 3 years, and 2 years relevant postgraduate work experience. The Master of Human Rights Law & Policy provides an opportunity for the specialised study of human rights law and policy at the postgraduate level and equips diverse graduates to be able to take up the cause of human rights advocacy from within the broad perspective of Law.

A candidate for the degree shall:
1.Have an MBBS or other medical degree (including such qualifications from another country), or
2.Have been awarded the degree of Bachelor, and have relevant experience.
Facilities are available in the School for students to undertake research studies leading to the degree of Master of Health Administration, as either full-time internal students, part-time internal students, or part-time students external to the University. It is designed primarily as training in advanced work. Candidates must demonstrate ability to undertake research by the submission of a thesis embodying the results of an original investigation or design. Candidates are required to have a suitable first degree and are normally expected to have a minimum of three years' experience in their proposed field of study within the health or hospital services.
Applicants are required to have either an undergraduate degree or higher degree in a health-related or public health-related discipline* and one of the following:
1.Honours or postgraduate qualification in a health-related or public health-related discipline; or
2.Two years full-time professional experience in a health-related or public health-related discipline, including as a volunteer in a health or public health organisation, or equivalent experience professional experience acquired as part of a health-related degree of 4 or more years duration (e.g. MBBS, Bachelor of Nursing,)
3.In exceptional circumstances, applications will be considered for entry where the applicant has extensive professional health or public health experience but does not hold a formal qualification in a relevant discipline. (e.g Nurses, Paramedics).
This program is available for students who wish to exit the Master of Health Management degree program after completing the core courses.

In exceptional cases an applicant who submits evidence of such other academic and professional qualifications may be admitted. No credits, exemptions or advanced standing are granted for the Graduate Certificate.
